Weerawila-Kataragama Road

This road rehabilitation project included improvements to both Weerawila – Kataragama Road (25.9km) and Dickwella – Beliatta Road (13.3km) running across the Southern and Uva Province of the country.

Carried out simultaneously, the double bituminous surface treatment of the roads aimed at improving the traffic flow around the culturally diverse city of Kataragama, attracting travellers from all across the island. The project was financed under the ADB Road Sector Improvement Project.
