Medawachchiya – Talaimannar (A-14) Road

Rehabilitation and improvement work of part of the A-14 Medawachchiya – Talaimannar road is currently underway under the Northern Connectivity Project of the Road Development Authority financed by the Asian Development Bank. The project is expected to be completed in August 2015.

Destroyed during the wartime era, the rehabilitation of this road will facilitate the linking of the coast of Mannar and Taiaimannar with the North Central Province.
